Some of life’s pleasures are simple and should be kept that way. A cup of coffee, a bagel, a morning newspaper. There is a reason we have a universal regard for these things. And it’s nice to have them at home. But there are those mornings when the coffee has run out or you’re a little sick of seeing the dishes still piled up in the sink, and you want a little socialization and the coffee brewed exactly right.
These are the days for a neighborhood coffee house. Grab the leash and the dog, stuff your messy hair under a cap, and head to the Grey Dog Cafe (or your neighborhood’s version of it) and you’ll feel the love. You could wear sweats, but you would look and feel better in these pants; light grey washed khakis softer than those rumpled sheets you just left and much better fitting.
