Sizing:

Order 2" up from your waist size. If you wear a size 32 pant, order a 34 belt. If you're an odd-size (meaning 31, 33, etc. - not a "weird" size), order up 3" from your waist for more tab at the end or up 1" for less.

If you have to take one belt on a work-play weekend trip, which one do you take? We have been searching for a perfect Italian dress/sport belt for a long time. You know, the kind that you can wear with your Black Swans, your blue jeans, or your upcoming Bonobos suit.

In doing so, we confronted The Paradox of Choice and asked ourselves How We Decide. The average store has twenty more options than you need.

When it comes to casual belts, we admire Belted Cow and Tucker Blair. But for a simple, versatile leather belt, we couldn't find the obvious answer. Many are too expensive. Many are too rigid, lacking the smooth, bendy perfection that can bring a cowboy to tears. On styling? We were looking for the lack thereof, not someone trying to win an award. Too often the belt buckles said too much, when we wanted them to speak softly and let the rest of our get-up do the talking.

So we decided to make a belt. A belt that won't change. A belt that is perfect on chinos or wool, is wide enough to wear with jeans and narrow enough to sneak on a suit.
