We attribute our growth to our revolutionary business model; we are building the world's first 100% web-driven, premium men's brand, powered by awesome products, customer service and technology.

We are looking to round out our apparel team by bringing on a superstar technical designer to lead our expansion into new fabrications and classifications as we move production offshore.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to help us build the Bonobos brand by standardizing a process to fit our products. As Bonobos’ technical designer, we need this person to help Bonobos build the technical design capabilities of a world-class apparel organization. This position will entail working closely with the apparel team, particularly the Director of Design, to ensure consistency of product fit and quality. As Bonobos continues to grow and evolve, your responsibilities and autonomy will adjust accordingly. We want someone who can be flexible as we continue to develop and refine our strategy to align with what is best for the future of our business.

Expect to take on these responsibilities right away:

  • Create tech packs to send to our factories.
  • Drive rigorous sample testing iterations and manage the timing of this process to align with overall production schedule.
  • Work closely with Director of Design and Head of Production to manage production calendar, select fabrics, trims, etc. and ensure technical excellence of product.
  • Work closely with fit model to gain insight on how to improve product.
  • Incorporate consumer insights from marketing to facilitate continual product evolution.
