limelights
This summer, we've been a bit behind in providing you with "summer"
pants. Most trouser purveyors plan months and seasons ahead. We're still a startup and we are lucky to plan for next Monday. But we did manage to get the Super Soakers out in June and they have sold marvelously. As such, we decided to follow up with another seersucker option just in time for August, our hottest month.
The Limelights glow in a soft green from afar. Up close, it's a vertical array of white, lime and navy pinstripes. the fabric itself is forgiving and cool - it has just got more stretch and give compared to most Bonobos, which make the fit exceptionally accommodating. We love giving you new options in your wardrobe that work with old favorites; the Limelights work well with your navy blazer, replacing your khakis or grey wool. They pair well with navy, forest green and white shirts as well. We wear them with shoes or sandals. Boating, golf, casual fridays, clam bakes...
Stay cool. Stay in the Limelight.
The limelights are not pre-shrunk and therefore may seem a little big out of the box. With a wash on cold water and a dry on low-medium heat (never dry anything on high heat), they will shrink to be consistent with Bonobos sizing. Don't be alarmed if they are quite roomy when you try them on at first, they will shrink. As always, be sure to wash/dry before you have your Bonobos hemmed. (Wash and dry twills, cords, etc. but not wool Bonobos which should be dry cleaned only.)
