We named our company after a peaceful and clever great ape that loves to play around.  And we are dedicated to preserving this gifted species; we recently started donating funds to the Lola ya Bonobo orphanage in the Democratic Republic of Congo. But in the marvelous family of jungle creatures, there are happy brothers and sisters and there are murderous predators. Some are called reptiles. Long and thin, sleek and deadly. So when it came time to name the new straight leg black cords, we decided we would honor our fang-bearing faves… the Black Mambas.  They join the Tigers in our fierce arsenal of black cords – take your pick, bootcut or straight leg.

The Mambas are a year-round workhorse as long as the temperature stays below 75 degrees.  All of our mid weight cords are versatile - with a rich black hue, these are no exception.  Our favorite Black Mambas outfit is an un-tucked dress shirt and a pair of funky sneaks, slides, loafers or boat shoes.  If you want to dress them up add a pair of matte black loafers and a cashmere sweater.  For chilling in the Spring and Fall we recommend a pair of flip flops and long sleeve t-shirt or a hoodie.
