Well it's hard to say exactly where the inspiration came from for these glorious tigers… and speculation has been rampant… But on the occasion of their release we'd like to salute our favorite Tigers of Wheaton Warrenville South High School, in Wheaton, IL, for their courageous performance year in and year out in Illinois interscholastic play. This trouser is not endorsed by WWSHS or any other middle school, high school, college or university. But it features a nearly perfect complement for guys that want to support their "tiger" alma mater. After all, there are hundreds out there, and all Tigers deserve a great pair of black cords to match with those other orange and black uniforms and emblems of school spirit.
The tigers are made of the same mid-weight black corduroy fabric as our Black Flags but feature this special edition, orange and black tiger-striped liner. We wear these bad boys with bright colored sweatshirts, sweaters and dress shirts. Double black diamond level sartorial wizards will match these tigers with royal blue velvet blazers, silver members only jackets, or bright yellow Glen Plake-inspired day-glo vintage 90s ski parkas and mohawks. When it comes to these Tigers, bet on black.
