Pinwale
This sensational fabric is a mix between buttery soft pajama pants and ultra-smooth corduroy. The super fine Bonobos pinwale corduroy is 30-wale (meaning there are 30 "ridges" per inch), and ultra-lightweight at only 4.3 ounces per yard (in comparison, our midweight corduroy is 16-wale and 8.3 ounces per yard, while the thicker, heavyweight cords you find in some stores are ~11-wale and 10+ ounces per yard). At their best in cool to warm climates, our pinwales work well in spring, summer and fall. Their finish is super smooth, and the weave contains just a touch of lycra (2%) giving the pants a slight stretch and improving their durability.
