What you need to know

New England has a new landmark stylish sophistication. The Salem's stitch out construction combines full grain leather uppers; leather quarter lining and cotton vamp lining. The full length leather covered footbed sits atop a Vibram® rubber Pluribal™ slip-resistant sole that ensures exceptional traction.

The Sebago-Moc Company was founded in 1946 by three New England natives. Their first shoe, the hand-sewn penny loafer, was styled after the popular Indian moccasins and pioneered what would become the company's patented welt construction. In 1970, Sebago-Moc introduced their own branded boat shoe by the name of Docksides, in the process dropping "Moc" from their name and becoming the brand known today as simply Sebago. Beloved Docksides would eventually come to define the entire boat shoe category.

Sebago Shoes

These shoes are great- one of the best pairs of dress shoes I own, cant believe they're only 150 bucks. I have a few pairs of Bostonians and an expensive pair of Ralph Laurens and these are far more comfortable and look just as good, and they break in very easily. They go really well with my navy and grey suits. They run a bit large, I usually wear a 9 in dress shoes and the 8 was even on the big side, so I'd order a size down, otherwise killer shoes!

Too Big

I loved the shoe overall, but they run about a size or so too large for me. Unfortunately, Bonobos' smallest size is an 8, so I had to return these and look for them elsewhere.

Fantastic

I have been looking high and low for a well built shoe in a brown with no flares and frills (wingtips) which are comfortable and built to last. Here they are. I will warn that they run BIG. I normally wear a 14 in boat shoes or Toms, these I ordered a 13 and they still felt like I could go a size down. Overall the shoes feel great to wear and can be dressed up or down. Can't believe they are only $150! Thanks!

Good fit, bad color

The shoes fit well and are comfortable, but the color fade is much more pronounced in real life than in the photo. the toe is very dark brown and the rest of the shoe is a much lighter brown. I've kept them but wouldn't have bought them if I had seen them in person.

Good looking shoe, not built well

It's a nice looking shoe, but wears down easily. The sole is not built well and easily deteriorates in poor weather (i.e. snow or rain). Just something to keep in mind. If you're in a fair weather location probably not as big a deal. But if in somewhere like Chicago, they simply won't last. Mine lasted only 4 months before. I could get major repair work done, but it's not worth the cost. I would recommend getting a show that is more money and built to last.
