Man! Did you guys know we had Parkas too? by @XcelNinja from BONOBOS

Kris @Bonobos aka @XcelNinja again.

This past #snowalloween weekend, I realized I was not adequately prepared for the winter elements and found myself captive in my apartment waiting out the storm. If not for @Seamless, I may have starved.

This whole debacle could have been avoided if I had had a parka.

Thankfully the Product and Merchandising Team at BNBS HQ realized what I needed before I did and my new parka came to the rescue immediately (isn't next day shipping awesome?). I ordered a large and wore a large sweatshirt underneath and the parka still fit the way I wanted, and unlike the parkas-of-my-past, I felt I could still move. (Though it's fair to say that I could also blame my inability to move on my mother's insistence that I layer my clothing to the point of immobility.)

I opted for blue because it felt a bit more of a casual color than black and didn't seem like it would show dirt as easily.

Though I haven't worn it in extreme weather yet, I could tell by the weight of the jacket, that it's exactly what I needed to make it to spring.

Earlier this year, I bought the Hunter Wellington Boots. Pair these two products together, and the next time Mother Nature unleashes her wrath on NYC, you'll be ready to yell back "Bring it!"
