Origin

T’was in 1492 that Columbus sailed the ocean blue; he had three ships and left from Spain; he sailed through sunshine, wind and rain. And what three crafts spirited him to discover new lands for Mr. Ferdinand and Mrs. Isabela? As any school child will tell you, the Nina, the Pinta, and the . . . Panta Maria? Yes, we do believe it was the Panta Maria, a vessel manned by the fine-trousered mariners and cordquistadors of yore. And we commemorate that slack-wise schooner with a pair of navy blue midweight cords that bear the same name: the Panta Marias. Land ho! And we claim it for pants.

Bonobos has taken last year’s cords and made them even better. Now with a touch of stretch for added comfort and sturdiness, as well as a straight-leg or boot-cut option to suit personal style, our new midweight corduroys are poised to truly become your go-to pants this fall. Soft yet rugged, dashing but durable, it is upon versatile trousers like these that great wardrobes are built.

Almost there... by ben

I'm rating them at a 5, even though I currently don't own a pair that fit. I ordered them in my size, 35x34, and the fit in the thigh was good, but they were way too long and the bottoms were way too big at the leg opening. So I ordered a 34x32 and they were way too short. So I am now sending them back to exchange for a 34x34, which I will likely take to my tailor to hem...and then I willl LOVE them!

Inseam is not true by Robert

These pants look great and fit well except that the inseam is actually 1.5" longer than it is supposed to be. Unfortunately, Bonobos seems to have very inconsistent sizing, which is a big problem for a mail order only company. Too bad because I like the look and fit of their pants, but end up returning more items than I keep.
