Customer Reviews

Just got my navy pair in the mail. I really like them. The straight leg fit is awesome. I love how the rise is not too high. Also, the cotton is actually pretty light. Not as light as wool but still pretty light.

Ridiculously fantastic pants!

I hate ironing with a passion. These pants resolve my hatred of ironing, but allow me to look put together when going out the door for work. To be honest, I was skeptical that I wasn't going to have to take an iron to these bad boys when I pulled them from the dryer. To my pleasant surprise, Bonobos proved me wrong - a brief shake and on a hanger they go; look pressed and ready to go. Simply amazing! So much so that I've ordered a pair in all available colors.

Not for me

The waist size ran way small on the pair I received. Couldn't get the button to fasten. I have several other pairs of Bonobos at size 32, these seemed more like a 30. Not to mention the odd sheen the fabric has. Not for me.

My Mondays aren't as blue anymore

I've literally started wearing these pants every Monday. The straight leg is very stylish and the color of blue is fantastic. Very happy with my purchase.

The best slacks ever

I'm short but with an athletic sort of build....even in 30" waist sizes, most pants are way too baggy especially in the seat and crotch...the Bonobos no-irons fit me as though they're custom made!....For alterations, I go to a tailor who handles military guys, and even he said - 'wow' what a fit....they only needed shortening. Perfect for travel and just about everyday.

These pants are great. I too, brought these to get tailored, and the lady doing the alteration said that they were a near perfect fit around the waist and hips, and only needed to be shortened. Also, I have an athletic build, large thighs and calves, and have a hard time finding pants that my legs fit in without a ridiculously large waist. These were probably the best fit I've worn for this issue in a while. Although, they are just a tad tighter than I'd like. Overall, excellent.

Not Your Grandpa's Khakis!

You can forget about all those other non-iron pants. These pants are the only great fitting non-iron pants I have found online, and I have pants from most of the big online sellers. I would have the legs tapered just a little to update them.

Highly Recommend

The pants are very soft and comfortable. They are cotton so they breathe better than wool pants. The color is inexplicably eye catching for a navy blue. As for fit: 1) the straight leg fit is perfect; 2) the rise is high enough so you can wear them at the office but low enough so you can wear them casually; and, 3) they fit perfectly around both my dress and casual shoes. With regards to the service, I ordered the pants on a Wednesday and received them that Friday without paying for expedited shipping. I bought two pairs to see which size fit me better and I returned the one I didn't keep. The returns process was seamless and my card was credited immediately. I highly recommend these pants and Bonobos in general.

Just OK!

these are defiently a comfortable and light modern pants however i am returning them because the legs are way too wide and not as skinny as I would like them to be...It almost feels like a boot cut pants.

Great pants but...

Great looking, comfortable and very versatile. I get a lot of compliments on these. The only thing keeping them from getting the fifth star is that they're a tad long (and I get the shortest size at 30). I've read that the inseam is actually a 31 so I'm hoping Bonobos will start making a 29 or shorten them a bit. From Bonobos: We're working on fixing the length. At least when they're long, you can cuff, roll, or hem. When they're too short, you can't add more.

Great pants for work

Soft fabric and the fit to these are awesome. I always have a hard time finding a nice pair of pants for work that are not too dressy and not too casual and these are perfect. The fit is somewhat slim but not skinny which I'm a huge fan of.

Great pants.

Very nice fabric, and very comfortable fit. They're slim, but thankfully, not overly skinny. I'm usually a 31x32 in other brands (I'm 5'10", 71kg/155 lbs), but I always order 30x32 with Bonobos, and get well fitting pants!! I ordered the Monday Blues, along with the Tuesday Blacks. Despite being the same style of pant, the Tuesday Black fits slightly better. The fit through the leg and around the waist of my Blues is perfect. The fit in the region where the pant leg joins the seat of the pants (the butt region) is sliiiightly roomier. I'm like the male Kim Kardashian, so not having a butt to fill the pants is certainly not the problem!! The Blacks fit better this time, but this is just an example of sample variation, and your order may fit better!! Other reviewers have complained about the crotch area being too tight. I did at first, but after 5 minutes of wear, they loosen up a bit, and the problem disappears. Buyers should also be aware that these pants are a bit shiny. However, it doesn't look tacky, so I still love them.

Just be aware...

The pants fit great. HOWEVER, I went through 8+ belts trying to find one that would fit through the belt loops on these pants. After I found a belt to fit through, once buckled the thickness prevented the forward part of the belt to be tucked in the first loop with the rear of the belt. I thought these pants were for men? Men have wider & thicker belts! I'm also disappointed to see my pants were made in Thailand. As the son-in-law of an immigrant seamstress, I don't have a problem paying $98 for American made goods, but not for foreign made goods created [presumably] by cheap labor.

These are my favorite pants. Fit is great. These aren't bootcut, just a nice truly straight leg. Not too baggy in the seat. I'm on the shorter side, so the low rise is perfect for me. I was tired of pants that are baggy in the seat and tapered to the ankles, these are comfortable and not too baggy, not too slim. Lightweight and smooth finish makes these a little dressy, perfect for work. They are not too shiny for me, they are smother for a dressier look. Sizing was accurate for me except I have to shorten them.

Close To Perfection

Since buying 4 other pairs of pants from Bonobos (denim and khakis), I decided to venture to the weekday warriors, and once again I was not disappointed. Ordered Monday Blues and Friday Grays and got them in 2 workdays. I am 5'10" 160, and ordered the 30/32. Waist was spot on and length good, but I prefer just a hair shorter, probably closer to a 31, but no big deal. The look is stylish yet professional and the feel is great. Definitely going to close out the rest of the weekday's colors in the near term.

My go-to slacks

Seriously, the comfort of cotton, but in a much dressier look. I think I may have to buy the whole week...

Best Fitting Pants...Almost

I just received my first pair of Bonobos chinos. They fit perfectly in the waist, through the hips, thigh, and leg. Problem is I'm 5'8", and the 30" inseam still has too much break for such a slim pant leg. Wish they were available in a 28" length, but that's what tailors are for. Otherwise they are perfect!

Nice but be warned

Got the pants in and they fit fairly well, no problems there. I did notice the sheen that others are talking about and it is odd at first, but once you get used to it, I didn't find it too bothersome. There is something else I wanted to warn about though: the fabric used for these pants has a knack for attracting fuzz and pet hair. It's worse than all the other pants I have. Your lint roller will get plenty of use if you have a furry animal at home.

Overprice cheap material

I have good experience with the chino bootcut..but this pant does not justified for $98. Overprice for pant made in china. The material attract dust like crazy. This is not even compare to my $30 Docker slim fit.

Bonobos Pants Kick Butt...

...and makes it look good too. Nothing out there fits like Bonobos. Their pants are hands down the best fitting pants around. I love these non-irons so much that I own all five days, err colors. These are the perfect pants for the office, where I also receive so many compliments on them. Take the plunge and buy a pair today - you won't regret it.

Stop staring at my butt

Kind of surprised by some of the negative reviews up here. I'm 5'9 with a wide athletic build, two traits that retail fashion does not take to kindly. That being said, these pants fit just right in the waist and rise and (shockingly) didn't require a hem for an almost-short guy like me. Like all my Bonobos pants, I had to go 2 sizes down for a slim fit, which the softness and stretch of the fabric greatly accommodate. The material has a bit of a sheen to it, but it isn't nearly as distracting as how flattering the fit is. I will be phasing out my frumpy, old man pants from Banana and Brooks in favor of these and the dress pants line.

Wish it were slimmer

Good pants over all but I wish the cut is slimmer. The supposedly straight leg feels more like a boot cut to me at 17'5 opening.

Great Fit...some notes on sizing and material

These are the best fitting pants I have been able to find. I normally wear a relaxed fit in jeans so the thighs aren't too tight, and these fit perfectly. It is tough to find pants that aren't too tight, but that I can wear to the office, and these are perfect for that. Not tight, but not frumpy. I'm 5'11 (185 lbs.) and got the 30 in. inseam, which is shorter than I normally wear, and they are just on the border of needing to be shortened (so I wouldn't add inches if you like pants longer). As other reviews have pointed out, they do have more fabric at the bottom than I expected. Not exactly a boot cut, but it hangs easily over your shoe. I understand what other reviews mean about the light material and the sheen. It is a little different, but overall a great choice if you are frustrated finding pants made for people who don't want a skinny cut and can't stand that feel of lots of fabric hanging off you.

Great fit, questionable quality

I've had these for a year now. They were the best fitting pants I've ever worn, by far. But after a year, they are done. The feel of the fabric has changed, the color has faded, and they don't fit like they used to. The purpose of these pants is that they are wrinkle-free out of the dryer, but it seems that the dryer has probably done them in. I will continue to buy Bonobos for the fit, but am a little disappointed with the quality, and will not put them in the dryer any more, despite what their care instructions tell me.

Blues and Greys

My absolute favorite pants!!! Go try one on at Nordstroms and you will be back here to check out the others.

Not exactly straight leg

These are great pants but you need to be aware that these do feel like boot cut pants with a wider leg opening. They also do attract lint and fur like crazy with is kind of a pain. Overall the fit is great until it gets to the leg opening and flares out. So if you are looking for a more modern slim fit than definitely go with the slim straight option like I wish I had.

Very disappointed

Initially these pants were great. I bought a 33/32 and had them taken in slightly and hemmed. After wearing them once and washing them, they have shrunk and one of the seams is coming loose.

great fit, poor quality

Pants fit great but after just one wear the pocket seams are coming loose. For what is priced as a premium pant, the quality is very poor.

nice pants, but tight (and these aren't slim straight)

I was a bit surprised by the fit. I ordered straight (not slim straight) and honestly they fit more like a slim-straight pant. I can't even imagine how tight those must be.

Good pants...wide legs

This pants are really good. I agree that the legs (knee to ankle) are wider than expected (almost like a boot cut). I still really like them, but will probably get them taken in to remove some of the extra fabric. I'd still recommend them though.
