Bonobos Denim

Start with heritage denim from a legendary American mill. Give it a design from a company founded on world-class pants. Stitch, rivet, and finish it in a city renown for its jeans. And what do you get? Premium Bonobos Denim.

With Bonobos Denim, we’re letting the fabric, fit, and quality speak for itself. You won’t find any loud back pocket details, unnecessary embellishments, or blatant labeling. What you will find is top-quality Cone® denim, exclusive to Bonobos, detailed and finished by hand, available in truly classic washes. An amazing pair of perfect fitting jeans.

Fabric from the hills of North Carolina. Conceived in New York. Born in LA. With Bonobos Denim, the legend is in the making.

Hudson River Bucket Rinse

Our Hudson River Bucket Rinse takes some of the finest selvage fabric Cone’s White Oak facility has to offer, crafts it into a classic, All-American fit, and finishes it off with a unique bucket rinse to accentuate the denim’s deep, dark indigo tone. Ideally suited as dress denim, but also eminently wearable in more casual settings, the Hudson River Bucket Rinse is the top of the line when it comes to premium selvage jeans.

Customer Reviews

Awesome, except for the length (again!) by John O.

First of all: I've never owned a pair of slim fit jeans. Levi's, my previous go-to until I discovered Bonobos demin, has ruined their product lines to the point that I can barely find 501s that fit well, much less their slimmer cuts.

I now own slim fit jeans, and I love these. Slimmer and snugger than my Flatirons, but not painted on. Same size as I wear in 501s, much higher quality, more tailored and flattering fit. Loosening up a but as I wear them, which isn't a bad thing.

BUT! You guys, your pants lengths are all over the map! Especially in the denim. I now own 5 pairs of Bonobos denim, and almost every pair has a different length. I wear a 30 in. inseam. My Flatirons and Roanokes are closer to 31 or 32 inches. My Blue Ridges are like 29 or 30. The Pacifics (I ordered 32 because that was all you had) are 32. And these Hudsons are like 31. Enough to notice bunching above the shoes. Same thing happened with my 30 in. travel jeans: they were 32 and I had to have them hemmed. What gives?

Other than that, I'm set for years in my current palette of Bonobos denim.

No magic in my seat. by Dave

These fit great absolutely everywhere except my crotch/butt.
I'm a slimmer/athletic guy, but I don't have thunder thighs or chicken legs and I don't have a huge butt.
I expected an out of this world fit with these jeans.
Especially when you consider the original price.
The quality and materials were superb.
Maybe I should have sized down in the waist but then these would have been hugging my legs like womens jeggings.
I consistently have this problem with pants, but I was hoping these magic pants from Bonobos would be the end of it.
Unfortunately not. I hope you fare better.

These things rock! by Brent

I've bought quite a few pairs of chinos so when I was looking for a new pair of selvedge jeans I of course came back to Bonobos hoping that the magic would be in their denim too. I was not disappointed. These jeans fit so great! Color, weight, and everything is spot on. I highly recommend getting a pair... or two.

Great Jeans, Great Service by Very Satisfied Customer

I've had these a few weeks, now. I waited to see how they wear a bit before reviewing. The quality of the denim and craftsmanship is top-notch. Thirteen and a half ounce denim is the perfect weight, I think - substantial but still very comfortable. The fit is slim but not tight (they don't seem to be QUITE as slim as the pics suggest, but maybe I have skinny legs), with a nice, narrow ankle opening. Beautiful deep indigo color. I wear a 30 or 31 in most jeans, though, and the 30s I first ordered were tighter in the waist than any other 30s I've tried on. I did not get to try 31s as they were sold out of them at the time, so I returned for 32s and they fit pretty perfectly (they have not stretched much, which has been good for me, but that may be because I've worn a belt with them every day). From what I observed on the 30s and 32s, expect the actual waist to measure about 2 inches larger than what is labeled. The labeled 30s had about a 32 inch actual measurement, and the labeled 32s measured just short of 34 inches right out of the box. I suspect with this quality and weight of denim, they won't stretch more than an inch in the waist unless you purposely stretch them out. The Ninjas, of course, were amazing (though they did seem to be as in the dark on sizing as I was). The exchange was free, super-quick and completely painless. I hope the sale price does not mean these are being discontinued, but I would recommend taking advantage of it. These American-made jeans are actually very well-priced at full price, so the sale is a steal. I only wish Bonobos would give more sizing info (actual waist measurements, ankle opening measurements, etc.) on the product page to give a more complete idea of fit before ordering. It would save them on some of that shipping they so graciously cover.

So, so close. by Gordon

If you aren't looking for slim jeans, buy these. This moment. Because they're made in the US, selvedge, feel pretty darn good, and have killer detailing.

But.

Like 90% of Bonobos customers, I buy for their incredible Bonobos Fit, not their fabric quality of detailing - that can be found other places. And these jeans just weren't quite there.

1. They read as not as slim as Bonobos slim-straight chinos and, if anything, your jeans should be at LEAST as slim as your chinos. This is especially apparent from the knee down.

2. Regular Bonobos chinos really do have "magic in the seat" - these, not quite so much. A little loose, at least on me.

Again, if you don't own every single pair of Bonobos slim-straight chinos then what are you doing? Buy more! But these jeans wren't quite the same.

Amazing ! by Eric

Just received these here at work, tried them on because i obviously couldn't wait till i got home. These jeans are awesome! they are selvage but not really stiff like other selvage jeans i have bought in the past, the color is amazing, I have been looking for quiet some time for a dark blue jean that goes with everything and i must say i have found it! the fit is excellent i sized down to a 31 as advised by Bonobos and it fits great, nice and snug around my thighs but comfortable enough to move around legs are slim as well but not skinny fitting which is perfect.
I recommend these to anyone thinking it over. The highlight would definitely be the color and fit. My money well spent.

Rock Solid by Brad

Love these. Worth every penny for some solid US jeans that are made like these, look like these and fit like these.
