Boot Cut

Robber Barons

What you need to know

These chino beauties have three points going for them. One, they've got an accommodating fit through the thigh for all the athletes out there, ex and current. Second, a hint of stretch for extra comfort when you need it. And third? Some extra-soft chino fabric, good for year-round wear. Add all three up, and what do you have? One spectacular Hat-Trick, and one amazingly comfortable pair of pants.

Customer Reviews

Good

These are much baggier than the standard Bonobos fit (The Corps/most wool pants). Great quality, but I would recommend going a waist size down if you want a more traditional fit.

Awesome

I have a slim waist but athletic build and these are my new favourite! I got them a waist size up, and they fit snug (but not too tight, especially thanks to the bootcut). I got the Cramboozlers as well.

Awesome

I ordered these in the same size I get all of my other Bonobos pants, and they fit the exact same way in the waist, but the legs are a little bit roomier. That being said, that's "Bonobos" roomier, so it's still better fitting than the other options out there. The stretch is minuscule, so don't let that scare you away. The construction/stitching is top notch, and they're now in my "go-to" section...

Awesome

I have been building a strong collection of wool and corduroy varieties of Bonobos for a while now, but I've been unable to tap into the traditional cottons because of a weird fit. I have a standard waist...but I have "runner thighs", which meant that the standard cut was really tight around my legs and my TSA & wife only zone. This stretch cotton is perfect. The fit is much more comfortable and the fabric is awesome. Love it.

Awesome

Great pair of pants and super comfortable!! Easy to care for and very stylish. Got many compliments when I wore them the other day!

Awesome

I like these--a comfortable fit and good looking too. Great fro going from the office straight to your holiday party.

Awesome

Great pair of pants. Just enough stretch to make a fitted pair of pants as comfortable as a more generous cut.

Awesome

Good

First, the inseams are way off as other people have mentioned. I wear 30 x30, and I ordered 30 x 30 but they measure 30 x 33. I like the fit enough that I kept them and had them hemmed . Banana pants have nicer material and more accurate inseams, but I hate their fit - baggy but and tapered hems. Banana boot leg is too flared. These have a great fit through the seat, comfortable thighs and nice leg opening that covers the shoe laces. For me the waist fit was accurate. But not even close on the inseam length.

Perfect

This is the best fitting pants I have ever had! The fabric feel is amazing. Will order a few more from the Ninjas!

Amazing

These are the best pants I have ever had! Great fit and so stylish!

great!

great pants - I wore a 34 waist in other styles, but got a 33 here - fit extremely well with just right amount of stretch. very comfortable.

So-So

I'm disappointed in the fabric quality of these chinos. After my first wash, the pants show signs of distress and honey-combing. I thought it was caused by my washing machine (on gentle cycle), so I hand-washed them the next time around and distress and combing has gotten worse. Drying on gentle cycle or letting the pants air dry doesn't change the distress/combing. Ironing doesn't help get rid of it either. I wouldn't recommend the Robber Barrons to a friend. To see what I'm describing, look at the third picture that shows the waist and fly. You will see there is distress and waviness at the pockets and on the fly. After a wash (or two), the distress is ten times worse.
