- They're comfy but they wear out quickly. by Micah

While these are extremely comfortable (the lightweight cords are *amazing* in the spring and summer) and have a perfectly understated and beautiful grey color, it's true about the baggy factor on these cords. Because of this fact, the lack of stretch never bothered me, but I would have preferred the stretch *if* they had been a bit more snug. As with a couple of other pairs of my Bonobos lightweight cords, the wales have disappointedly worn down to in the crotch from simply wearing them. While that's a bit frustrating, Bonobos has, as always, been more than willing to replace these as needed. I'll be going with a different pair of pants next time, but definitely from Bonobos.

- Not crazy about this version by Danger

The elepants were my favorite pants when they came out. I wore them everywhere until they ripped. I waited MONTHS for them to come back and I ordered a pair the second they were back.
I agree with the above comment. These are not the same pants. They are too baggy, don't fit right. I miss the stretch and am overall disappointed with this pair. I rarely wear these now :( - Nice. But a step back from last season by Bonobeau

This season's pinwales are noticeably baggier in the leg than last season's "athletic bootcut" - especially from the knee down. You'll need a good tailor if you want a slimmer look. I prefer last season's cut better and hope this isn't the start of a baggy trend (let's call em Bonobos Republic). Same great pinwale fabric and a nice color.
From Bonobos: Actually it's a slightly different fabric. No stretch this time. So, the cut is just a bit bigger so as to be comfortable and breathable. But, as you note, a decent tailor should be able to adjust without too much trouble. Thanks for the feedback!
