What you need to know

Grenson was born in 1866 as William Green & Son and soon became known for consistency of craftsmanship and materials. The ‘Grenson’ identity was formed in the 1930s and was one of the first brand names to be registered in the UK. With Goodyear welted production at the heart of the Grenson business, the company also introduced the Grens-In Sole to provide soft underfoot flexibility. Innovation in construction, design and materials has kept Grenson modern while retaining the heritage and craftsmanship that confirms Grenson as one of England’s master shoemakers since 1866.

Awesome

Glad I pulled the trigger. These are nice change from dark brown, and go swimmingly with a grey or navy suit. Thanks to some high end Ninja service I ordered the size 9, despite wearing a size 9.5 in all other brands of dress shoes. The fit is right on the money. I don't eat red meat but have no problem enjoying the pleasures of a calf skin shoe. These shoes are insanely comfortable. This is my first experience with Grenson and based on the price tag, I was expecting a higher quality than Cole Haan, and they delivered. The leather is supple and the step is cushioned in all the right places. Thanks once again to Bonobos for introducing me to a brand that I never knew existed.

Amazing

I get so many compliments for these shoes, it is amazing. They are expensive but they are worth it. My favorite pair by far.

Spectacularly Smart

These shoes are without a doubt the best investment in footwear that I've made in a long time. I constantly receive compliments about how smart they look. The color and quality of leather is great, the footbed is comfortable and the fit is spot on. I will say that you should order half a size down since the shoes run a little large. These shoes go with everything, navy or grey suits, jeans, chinos, khakis, literally everything. And the color is perfect for showing a little more flair than brown but it's not limited to a narrow color spectrum of clothing.

Best look for this type of color

I love the look of these shoes, they go with pretty much any color of pants or suit. I recently bought some Allen Edmonds and these are close in the quality of materials, but I still think I prefer my AEs.

Proper Brogues

I bought these after it was time to put to rest my 6yo pair of Grensons. I was surprised at the quality! My general assumption is that companies try to cut corners over the years to make a cheaper shoe, but not Grenson. The quality is just like the pair I got before. They were a little snug out of the box, but that's expected. Definitely buy!
