- Excellent look - runs large by Justin

Great looking pair of shoes. The feel is excellent after just a few times of wear. They do run large so order a size down. I normally wear 11.5/12.0 US in Nike and ended up with a 10.5 for Grenson. My foot is marginally wide so you may have to go down even more.

These dress shoes have found a permanent place in my rotation of work shoes. I wear a 9.5D in Allen Edmonds, and the 8.5 in these Grensons is an excellent fit. The leather is buttery soft, and the colour and construction is really wonderful. I work in fashion/retail and have received numerous compliments about these great looking shoes.
I would recommend sizing down for a better fit, as noted above. I would also recommend using a cream/polish when shining these shoes for best results. My first attempt with a wax did not product an even shine like I can achieve with my Allen Edmonds. A nice dark brown cream/polish worked great, though. - Extremely nice shoes. by Bryan

As a 11D that's sometimes 10.5D, I found the 10 pair (9 f in UK sizes) to fit me really well. Maybe a touch narrower than I'd like, but otherwise an excellent fit. Reminds me of the 5 Last that Allen Edmonds uses on a lot of their classic shoes (the legendary Park Avenues for example)
Speaking of Allen Edmonds, I'd peg the quality at on par with each other. As nice leather shoes start at about three hundred, Grensons are very fairly priced. A bit stiff but very comfortable out of the box. In my particular case they are easily the best fitting shoes I own. I've received a number of compliments about them. Extremely nice looking with a grey suit and a nice brown belt.
A few notes: wish it had an even number of shoe lace holes for a better straight lacing. Lacing out of the box looks messy if you can see the laces underneath, which you can unless you have very narrow feet, in which case the vamp will cover up the tongue (as in the example pictures). I used standard brown shoe polish on them a few months after I got them, which darkened the color a bit to a more burgundy. A bit darker than I remember the original color being, so you may want to use tan shoe polish to retain the exact original color. - Look great! Definitely runs large. by Chad

I am usually between sizes (10 1/2 - 11), so I ordered down one full size from the high end of my range (so, I ordered a 10). Turns out I actually had to go all the way down to a 9 before these fit but they look and fit great down. They are obviously stiff and I just finally got the correct size so we'll see how well they break in.
