Finn is a basic English shoe. A simple plain toed gibson with a single leather sole, made from calf grain leather.

About

Grenson was born in 1866 as William Green & Son and soon became known for consistency of craftsmanship and materials. The ‘Grenson’ identity was formed in the 1930s and was one of the first brand names to be registered in the UK. With Goodyear welted production at the heart of the Grenson business, the company also introduced the Grens-In Sole to provide soft underfoot flexibility. Innovation in construction, design and materials has kept Grenson modern while retaining the heritage and craftsmanship that confirms Grenson as one of England’s master shoemakers since 1866.

Beautiful, well made shoe by Chris: The shoe I received is a bit lighter in color than the one pictured. The quality seems exceptional and the leather is gorgeous. I normally wear a size 10 and bought 1/2 size down; glad I did because the 9.5 might be a 1/2 size big on me and the width is a D+ for all sizes so more room than I am used to having.
Worth It by Ryan: I typically sport a dress boot, but I splurged and gave these a shot. Glad I did. These Grenson's are fantastic. I've never worn a shoe that felt so well constructed. You can actually feel the quality of the leather. Highly recommended.

Regarding the sizing: I ended up with the same size I wear in a dress boot, which is about 1/2 smaller than my normal shoe size.
