Origin

We made our first Golf polos sleek and modern with slick, breathable and quick drying performance fabric and a signature athletic cut. Yet, we also looked far back to the origin of the game for inspiration. The county of Fife on the Eastern coast of Scotland is thought to be the birthplace of Golf and, to this day, major championships are often decided at the Old Course of St. Andrews located there. It's our first Golf invention, so why not pay tribute the sport's original home?

Our performance golf polos polos are made of 97% polyester 3% elastane. Moisture wicking and fast drying to keep you cool and dry in the heat and warm and dry when it's cooler.

Arriving in an easy to wear color palette, the Fife polos pair perfectly with our new pants to make up the Bonobos Golf Collection. The collar and back neck details subtly and tastefully brand our polos and channel the clean and classic styles of old.

Less is More - lose the badging by Eric

Don't get me wrong, I love Bonobos products, but these new polos with the big "B" and the name sewn on the neck make this a non-starter for me. I'd love to wear a polos like this on Friday, but the badging has to go. Thanks

From Bonobos: Hey Eric. This is meant to be a polo you wear on the golf course not that office. We have new colors of casual wear polos coming out in Feb/Mar 2012 so stay tuned.

Ditch the "B" logo by Barry

For those of us who grew up in the 70s, watching "Laverne and Shirley," in which all of Laverne's clothes sported a big loopy "L," the script B on these shirts seems, well, weird. And, for any guy whose name begins with a "B," this is a real non-starter.

Awesome by Mark

I wore this shirt playing golf recently. Great shirt. It is very comfortable and the fabric does a good job wicking moisture. My only recommendation is that you change the thread or whatever is used to sew the tag -- it is quite firm and abrasive.
