As soon as I put these on I knew they were going to be my favorite jeans. The denim looked darker than in the picture above; however, the color is rich and very blue (not that dark, almost black indigo color some dark selvage denim has). These jeans fit like a glove. I wear a 32 in most jeans and these were the perfect length to wear cuffed but not too long to wear uncuffed. The denim is super high-quality and very substantial. Worth every penny.

These jeans were a pleasant shock. From the descriptions, I thought they'd be baggy (even as a "slim"), just ok. Whoa. These are incredible. Wonderful, old-fashioned selvedge, luxurious, and very slim fitting! In fact, I usually find 29w is a little loose, but these 29's were actually a little tight -- but okay. They fit beautifully and they're really nice looking. I might have liked another inch in length (I have long legs) but they're fine. I don't yet know how they'll come through the wash, but I'm willing to baby them -- they're that nice. Anyway: I don't think they run large at all. They seem true to size, even a little tight (but not too much). Highly recommended!
