Fit

Care: Machine wash cold with like colors. Color transfer may occur. Tumble dry low.
Detailing: Sailcloth inspired pocketing with origin and ingredient stamp, and a second unique beer bottle ingredient stamp.
Fabric: White Oak® Cone Denim® from North Carolina, featuring EarthSpun® Yarn made from recycled beer bottles, cotton, and polyester.
Finish: Natural Canvas
Notes: Cut, sewn, washed and hand-finished in Los Angeles, CA.
Rise: Medium rise, with some magic in the seat to be comfortable but not frumpy.
Waist: Size down if you're in between sizes or want a slimmer fit. Like most jeans, these stretch a bit with wear.

Beer bottles can do more than simply provide containment for our own grain-based beverage of choice here at Bonobos. As it turns out, they can also engender some pretty slick pants. Denim made from recycled beer bottles? Yes indeed, and in celebration of Earth Day 2012, we’re offering the Bottle Rockets – Premium Bonobos Denim featuring EarthSpun® Yarn from Cone Denim®’s White Oak® Mill. This innovative and environmentally sustainable fabric is produced entirely from recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and recycled plastic beer bottles (each pair of Bottle Rockets contains between 3 – 5 beer bottles, in fact). The result is one extremely comfortable, incredibly stylish, and truly conversation-worthy pair of jeans, fit for Earth Day, or any day.

In addition to their earth-friendly fabric, the Bottle Rockets also feature Bonobos original ingredients prints on the pocket liners, and two color options to choose from – Indigo Rinse or Natural Canvas.

A great pair of jeans... by Forrest: This is my first pair of bonobos denim - though I have three pairs of chinos. I went with my normal size (35x34) and the fit is spot on. The material also has some softness to it I would not expect from a pair of new jeans. Probably the alcohol...
Great; sizing not true by aMathGuy: These are great –– super comfortable, but Jeff is wrong about the size: If anything, they're larger than the Bonobos jean (selvage) at this size (or else I'm losing serious inches on my waistline between Bonobos orders WTH).
Love 'em by Jeff: Great fit, great color, and real comfortable. I wound up sizing up to a 33 waist vs. 32 in the other bonobos denim, and that has worked out well as they haven't stretched out all that much though a dozen or so wears. I like everything about them, aside from the faint whiff of Rolling Rock. (joke).
