Our ever-expanding line-up of neckwear has added a ton of style to our site recently. Thanks to Pierrepont Hicks and Ernest Alexander, we have some of the greatest ties on the market available just for you. But if you’re like most of us, tying a bowtie presents a unique challenge. Luckily, Mic (@micbonobos), one of our stellar customer experience Ninjas, is here to save the day. So this jam has been blastin’ at Bonobos HQ a whole whole lot lately. It’s the new release by (gasp!) Hanson. Before you go judging, give it a listen. It’s a pop-jazz-bluesy mix and is freakin’ awesome. Hanson is BACK and I’m pretty sure all the teeny boppers that liked them in the beginning are swooning like never before now that these dudes are actually legal.
There have actually been a lot of musicians bringing it back lately for round 2. Makes me wonder if we’ll see a follow-up from Chumbawamba sometime soon. Actually, it’s probably best if they just let that one die and pray we all forget they were attached to that annoyingly catchy 2 liner stuck on repeat.
As we bid the winter adieu, we came across some great outtakes from our photo shoot in Aspen this February for The Corps, our new line of washed khakis. Pete, our trusty photog, threw these together and had some fun while doing it. So we wanted to share it with you all. Kevin has definitely taken the belly flop to a whole new level in some of these shots. Glad there was plenty of powder.
It’s been a busy week around Bonobos HQ. Between the incredible outpouring of support for Haiti and the sample sale bonanza, we’ve been running on pure adrenaline. We needed something where we could just sit back and enjoy.
We’ve been thinking a lot about video lately. We’ve had forays into the medium before (here, here and not so successfully here) and had a blast with it. Risking getting in trouble with the tech team, we’ve kicked around the idea of adding video to the product pages and some brand videos as well.
Our new photographer, Mr. Peter McBride, has some great thoughts on how to creatively incorporate the medium and we’re excited about the concept.
