What you need to know

These chino beauties have three points going for them. One, they've got an accommodating fit through the thigh for all the athletes out there, ex and current. Second, a hint of stretch for extra comfort when you need it. And third? Some extra-soft chino fabric, good for year-round wear. Add all three up, and what do you have? One spectacular Hat-Trick, and one amazingly comfortable pair of pants.

Excellent so far

Just ordered this and I must say, these probably one of the most comfortable pair of pants I've ever worn. The fit is nice and very complentary to your form, but somewhat bigger in the waist than (33'') than my Bootleggers (34'') so you might want to size down. The only complaint is the lack of colors the stretch cotton pants come in, but I believe Bonobos is working on this. Overall, very nice and I would recommend for those that are curious.

Comfy But 'Jet' Black Is 'Faded' Black

Comfy pair of pants, but 'jet' black is highly misleading. Brand new, the color is more like a badly faded black. Looks like these pants were washed 50 times before they got to me. Not sure what's up with Bonobos' black chinos, but they just can't get a strong deep black going for any of their black versions. I've tried the Blackjacks with the same problem. The black Travel Jeans seem to be the deepest black they have. If you want a true jet black, then avoid the Shadow Boxers.

Not for everyone

A few things everyone should know about these pants. First, these are chinos and not slacks for work. Second, I thought I had accidentally ordered navy when these "jet black" slacks came in. Finally, despite these slacks having extra thigh room for "athletes and former athletes," these are way too tight in the thigh for me, and I am just a normal 30 something that wears 36 waist that played linebacker/fullback in high school. My point is I do not think these are for everyone and tend to be better for slimmer guys. I had to return my unfortunately.

Are they discontinuing these??? I sure hope not because they're the only chinos I can do a squat in (I'm in healthcare) and not have to worry about my pants splitting! I am athletic (maybe not a line backer) but I'm a larger frame 6ft 195 and they fit amazingly.
