About the Brand

The Sebago-Moc Company was founded in 1946 by three New England natives. Their first shoe, the hand-sewn penny loafer, was styled after the popular Indian moccasins and pioneered what would become the company's patented welt construction. In 1970, Sebago-Moc introduced their own branded boat shoe by the name of Docksides, in the process dropping "Moc" from their name and becoming the brand known today as simply Sebago. Beloved Docksides would eventually come to define the entire boat shoe category.

Favorite boots by Ray

I wear these boots everyday to work and they're perfect. I actually own Timberland Earthkeeper boots but these definitely work better in the office with a nice pair of Bonobos pants. Like all the other reviewers stated, the color is very nice and I've gotten many compliments. Fit is true to size and the leather will break in.

beacon boot - brown by frank

I agree with Adam completely. I wore these boots for the first time the other day; they're fantastic. While they aren't explicitly 'oiled' when you receive them, with some low-level care (i.e., leather protector of sorts) you will be very happy. You can tell you will get some longevity out of these boots. They look great with all my bonobos pants, but pair especially well with my Iron Jackhammers.

Boat shoes for winter by Saul

I really love these boots. While not quite as comfortable as my Sebago boat shoes, these are much sharper, and I plan on wearing through May. The color doesn't look as nice in pictures on other websites, but the Bonobos pictuers are accurate -- they have a beautiful rich color and shine to them.

Autumn Boat Shoes by JD

Think of these as an Autumn boat shoe, a classic looking lace up, warm, quality, smooth oiled leather in a brilliant color. As Autumn rushes in to Winter in Chicago, these are easily paired with some thicker merino socks to keep just as warm and look outstanding south of any pair of pants (except black, of course)

Value by Adam

Disclaimer, I'm @asidney, Bonobos marketing director.
For $130, these shoes seem like a great value. They fit true to size so I didn't have to exchange or wear extra bulky or extra thin socks to be comfortable. The color is amazing and I can tell they're going to age really gracefully. With some low level maintenance, I could see these lasting me 5 years or more.
