Fabrics
We scour the globe for the finest fabrics available anywhere. This results in certain styles being available only in limited runs, so if you see something you like, act fast. Our cotton twill, for example, is a Belgian cotton that makes the finest pair of khakis you'll ever own. The mid-weight corduroy is the perfect alternative to denim in both weight and comfort. The pinwale takes the comfort of the cords but the weight of a summer pant, keeping you cool and stylish in the heat. Our wools are slick, lightweight wools that are individually sourced, resulting in dress pants you have to wear to believe.
Style
All of our pants come in the Bonobos Signature Fit, but that doesn't mean they're all the same. You've told us that you love your Bonobos for all occasions, and we've tried to make sure that our offerings fit the bill. We now offer more "office-appropriate" versions of our core styles, removing our colorful belt-loop stitching and funky pocket-liners but keeping our great fit and quality.
Cut
Our pants come in two different cuts or finishes below the knee: boot and straight leg. While the fit in the waist and rear remains the same, we give you the option of choosing whether the pants finish with a slight boot cut (approximately one inch wider at the heel than at the knee) or a more classic straight leg.
Our pants come with a longer inseam than most guys need—34 inches for waist sizes up to 33 inches, 36 inches for waist sizes 34 inches and above. We know that hemming is an extra step, but it’s one that we believe is worth it for pants that truly fit correctly. Any dry cleaner or tailor can easily hem your Bonobos to the perfect length.
Liners
Many of our pants are lined with fun patterned liners, most of which are our own unique designs. On some of these styles, we now offer the choice of whether this liner shows through in the back pocket, allowing you to decide the level of "fun" that ships with your Bonobos.
Climate
We try to offer you core colors in all of our fabrics. In general, our midweight corduroy and wool are most appropriate for cooler temperatures, our cotton twill and our lighter wools are appropriate for temperate climates, and our pinwale and lightest cottons are appropriate for warmer weather.
