We are looking for a PR ninja to take our execution on PR initiatives and on event-based customer service (e.g. in-person fittings, trunk shows, other events, etc.) More important than any other factor is a passion for men's fashion and a desire to help our customers look and feel better by shopping at Bonobos. You must be a person with a keen sense of style and an easy ability to help others be more stylish, too.

Responsibilities

As with all positions at a rapidly growing start-up, your job will be fast-paced and will frequently evolve. We want someone who is ready to take on a variety of responsibilities and can be flexible as we continue to develop our PR and Marketing strategy.

Expect to take on the following responsibilities right away:

• Liaise with PR agency on press requests
• Pull product for press opportunities
• Create press materials
• Plan and assist with events
• Draft pitches and product blurbs/information
• Brainstorm creative story angles
• Work with web team to maximize benefits of PR hits
• Be a thoughtful contributor to our ninja customer service and marketing teams

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with PR and/or marketing experience and expertise. Successful applicants will have been in the industry for 3+ years. If you do not have retail experience, be prepared to explain why your background is better for the job than what our hypothesis suggests.

Strong communication, organization and writing skills are essential to success in this role. You should be able to get up to speed quickly on how to represent our brand to the public in an eloquent and thoughtful manner.
